The Fix ...

[Whimsical Poem Collection] -
The Fix ….. not what you may perhaps think?! Simply about appreciating the everyday … every breath … and being high on what is freely available to us all and on life itself! I hope you enjoy the fun in it.

This poem was written on 2nd May 2023. It will be part of a collection that I refer to as
Whimsical – A blend of Frippery, with Clever and Inane creations!

Poem wording -

The Fix …

[In breath]
Aghhoww.
What a Hedonistic Heady Mix.
The Fix.

In Deep.

Held.

Brain Swelled.
Heart Full.
Body Held

Ooogh ….
What is this Heady Mix?
Daily, Daily, Daily,
Need that Fix!

Why ….. it’s Oxygen My Dear!
Can’t Help.
It’s Everywhere!!!

Down. Deep Into the Lungs.
Held.
Exchanges from Body.
Back.
Out through the Blood.
And Into The Lungs.

Expelled.

Inhale [breath in]

Exhale [breath out]

Pause.

And Repeat!!!

It’s Really, Really neat!

If You Don’t Get it …
You Don’t Have No Beat!!

Enjoy.
This.
Your Fix.
Suck It In.
Get That Heady Mix!!
