See, Feel, Be:
A Poem

Is there a red so red,
Or blue so blue,
As what my eye sees
And mind perceives?
If my thoughts,
Or that I think,
Measure the foundation of ‘I’
Or the ‘eye’ of this beholder,
What spectrum of color might the other ‘I’s’ see?

Is there a distraction so distracting,
Or ill so ill,
As what my passions conspire
And my heart wills?
If my emotions,
Or that I feel,
Can be deconstructed to Id,
Or the silhouette of Ego,
What Rhythm might another Id beat?

Is there a wine so sweet,
Or whiskey so deep,
As when I freely pour
And richly take?
If my burdens,
Or that I am burdened,
Shows by increment my spirit,
Or that I am spirited,
What a Breath it must have been to awaken earth.
