Advisor to the head of Rosenergoatom, Renat Karchaa, said that after the explosion of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, there is no threat of lack of water at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. Special spray pools are used to cool spent nuclear fuel. According to the expert, one should be wary of projectiles, as they can break through the bottom of these pools, which will lead to water leakage into the sand.
