THE KING OF UFOs (2024) Full UFOs & Royalty Documentary

"In 1967, on a flight from Scotland to London, Sheppard's crew were warned of "high-speed opposite direction traffic, identity unknown". Almost immediately Sheppard saw, so he reported, below him and about 300 metres to the west, a shining disc-shaped object which passed at a speed he estimated as being 1,300kmh. That same year, on a night flight to London from Gibraltar, he and his crew recorded what appeared to be an aerobatic display by two unidentified craft. The two objects were confirmed by radar in Bordeaux. His discussions with the press about his experiences led to his being censured in 1993, with the threat of dismissal from British Airways if he continued to air his views. After speaking to journalists about his concerns over near-misses, Sheppard was summoned to the office of Lloyd Griffiths, British Airways' chief pilot for the Boeing 757 and 767 fleets. The correspondence that followed stated that "BA is not putting its collective head in the sand on this topic" but gave warning of the "media reaction involving ridiculing of your views and the subsequent damage of your image as a BA captain". It stated that Sheppard should be in no doubt about the "likely repercussions" of further disclosures. On retiring as an airline pilot, he became well-known publically and frequently gave lectures on the subject of UFOs. His abilities as a raconteur, and his ability to be always credible, as well as immensely likeable, brought great conviction, as well as entertainment, to any discussion of the unexplained in which he participated." An interview with Ohio State patrolman David McCurry from September 19, 1962. One day after his UFO sighting. Interview by Marc Candusso. Date of UFO sightings: September 18, 1962 5:00-5:15 a.m. EDT. Witnessed by: 1. Patrolman David McCurry 2. Patrolman James Nelson & Delmus Early 3. Deputy Sheriff Donald E. Corey 4. Patrolman Dave Richey 5. State Policeman Roger A. Stinard "Police In Four Counties Sight UFOs" Six police officers in four adjoining counties of Northeast Ohio, in five separate locations, independently observed UFO activity within a 15 minute period September 18, 1962. The officers were: State Policemen Roger A. Stinard, and David McCurry; Mahoning County Deputy Sheriff Donald E. Corey, Carroll County Police Officers James Nelson and Delmus Early, Patrolman Dave Richey of Canal Fulton. All reported a generally north east or east direction, but in two of the observations the UFOs maneuvered across the sky. Comparison of the reports strongly suggests that associated phenomena were observed. (1) State Policeman David McCurry, chasing a speeding car about 5:00 a.m. in the vicinity of Minerva, intermittently watched two white oval-shaped objects which he had noticed hovering in the sky just before the speeder came by. When he looked again he saw that one of the UFOs had descended and was glowing brilliantly. Suddenly the object took off at high speed to the NE. Later Officer McCurry checked with a patrol just across the County line in Carroll County, and learned they had seen essentially the same phenomenon. (2) Patrolman James Nelson and Delmus Early, opposite Minerva across the County line in Carroll County, were cruising north on route 80 checking out various business establishments. Between 5:00 and 5:10 a.m., they noticed two UFOs, widely separated but apparently maneuvering in unison. The objects descended, seemed to stop momentarily, then accelerated and sped away NE. In a taped interview, the officers described the UFO closest to them as cone-shaped with a fiery exhaust, leaving a trail of smoke. The sighting lasted 4-5 minutes. (3) Deputy Sheriff Donald E. Corey, Mahoning County, was cruising near Poland, about 35 miles north and east of Minerva at 5:00 a.m. he noticed a very bright light source hovering or floating slowly to the NE. The light disappeared in 30 seconds. (4) Patrolman Dave Richey, Canal Fulton, about the same time sighted a stationary UFO, also in the NE sky. It was cone-shaped with a bright blue-white light on one end, visible about 45 seconds. After parking his car, Officer Richey looked again about a minute later and the object was gone. (5) State Policeman Roger A. Stinard was cruising near Hudson, about 45 miles NNW of Minerva; it was cloudy and drizzling. He places the time at 5:15 a.m. A bright light in the sky attracted his attention, and he looked toward the E. Visible through the clouds was an "extreme white light, brighter than headlights." The light was completely stationary as long as he watched it, for 2-3 minutes. About 6 minutes earlier I had noticed another plane leaving the same airspace as it took off S-W towards Dallas, at first making this appear to be a sensible, well choreographed normal flight-pattern. Both were descending at an unacceptably high rate of speed, not unlike Flt.175, as it approached the WTC South Tower, just a few months prior. I instantly slowed from my usual 58mph freeway speed, to about 48mph, just slow enough to capture the active motion against a relatively stable foreground. It suddenly dawned on me that these aircraft were in hot pursuit! Having a high degree of spatial recognition, I could see that I was approximating a situation where I might be entering a point of impact, so I slowed my vehicle as much as I could, practically do without serious risk to other traffic. Even 39mph suddenly felt like a suicide rate, so I dropped it down to second and got into the creeper-lane. That's when it all became clear that I was observing a real UFO. The vehicles leveled-off at an altitude of just about 1,000 feet. and continued at me for about 1 mile. Their additional descent went unnoticed until the first craft slowed to a nearly parked position. Behind him, was a full battle-ready Huey helicopter which also came to a sudden halt, much as though he was scared of getting more than an inch closer. Very gently, the Black Triangle proceeded to move forward and I rolled to a position just beyond it's wingspan. At that point, it was about 1 1/2 blocks to my Left, so I could see the entire thing through my driver's side window, but as it moved, it was to leave the entire bird visible through, and virtually filling my Jeep's entire windshield. I looked intensely at every portion of that machine, knowing it could not be faithfully photographed at night. Lucky for me all of it's lights were operational and I believe that I observed all of the fundamental attributes of their behavior in this 'idle' mode. My feeling was both one of terror and relief. My biggest fear was that the helicopter would fire upon it and I would be caught in the fireball below! To my hard left, another troop-type helicopter appeared. I'll discuss that one later. I knew that I needed a comparable reference to describe the UFO's actual scale which still eludes me somewhat. Altitudes of 900' would seem more reasonable than say, 500 feet., but that was probably it's very lowest hovering height.
