Matrix Hearts - Season 1 | Part 2

New VN came out today and and it looks like it's going to be a long one. The story is not that out of this world yet, graphics are nice, the animations could've been better and the game does offer you some choices. The story focuses around our rock-climbing protagonist and it's starting with seemingly the end of his career, represented by a knee injury sustained while climbing. So far I recommend this game to the fans of the genre.

"Matrix Hearts is a Visual Novel about romance, comedy, and choice. Play in the shoes of a former Olympic rock-climber as he moves to a tropical island where he may be able to climb to the top once again.

He was supposed to be somebody. He was going to be a contender! Then he took a rock climbing wall to the knee. A would-be Olympic climber sustains an injury to his leg that keeps him from competing and a shot at the big leagues, with the only possible fix being a prototype technology that is sci-fi at best. Between his new introverted mood, a town of colorful characters, and the fruits of temptation, getting this tech to work may require all he's got. There's a big cliff to climb for him to be a champion again!​

Matrix Hearts is a story with a slow build that focuses on character movements first before reaching an overarching climax with an ocean of irreverent humor. Choose which path this former Olympian takes. Climb to the top of the rock-climbing world or laze around on a beach.
