WA Labor tabled their motion (No. 13 to hold a debate of the "Voice to Parliament", scheduled for two hours.

WA Labor get a quota of 8 motions, with the opposite getting 5 and the remaining minor parties getting a quota of 1, which is the respective number of motions each party can table in the 19 sitting weeks out of 52 weeks per year.

There was no explanation why WA Labor did not proceed with their motion to debate the "Voice to Parliament"

Nick Goiran, WA Liberal Party tabled a petition on May 9th, 2023 with a near record number of public signatories calling on the Premier to make his advice public, calling the secrecy a “gross breach of his promised standard of transparency”.

“On two occasions, he has arrogantly evaded answering the question and continues to keep it secret,” Mr Goiran said.

“We think it’s only fair and reasonable that every Western Australian be treated the same way and receive this advice that he’s keeping secret.

“If the proposal by Mr Albanese for a Voice via a referendum causes no risk and no concern to Western Australia, why is Premier McGowan keeping it secret?”

Nick Goiran asked the same question yesterday, directing the same question in the first sitting of Premier Roger Cook, resulting in a McGowan'esk answer.
