EMDR for PTSD

A Q&A format of information provided about EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) therapy involving first responder personnel. This unique perspective is coming from a first responder of about 20 years of service , Circa 1999-2019, and provides answers to seven important questions as it relates to the treatment of PTSD via EMDR with a particular patient base being that of first responders. This Q&A session will benefit both, First Responders with PTSD and the Therapists engaged in providing EMDR therapy to the unique circumstances posed by treating first responder patients. Please note this is not medical advise, rather it is a perspective from a patient ( Myself ) who has undergone and continue to undergo EMDR Therapy
