Even in the face of indictment, a poll taken after it was announced shows that his support has INCREASED to 61% among GOP primary voters, which is a 38% lead over DeSantis and a whopping 58% over the rest of the field. STUNNING! Probably not exactly what the Democrats were anticipating. The entire matter appears to be rigged with inflated charges as a specialty of the Special Counsel, Jack Smith, who has been reversed by Appellate and (even) the Supreme Court for bringing charges that far exceeded the scope of the statutes under which they were brought. This has been emphasized by Judicial Watch, where Tom Fitton explains that this case is in violation of the US Constitution, the Presidential Records Act, legal precedent, and (even) the DOJ/Archives' previous position that when a president takes documents with him they become his personal property. So it's likely to be given the boot right off the bat. WHOWHATWHY has revealed its role by citing the "top five craziest reactions", which are not crazy at all, especially in the case of Mark Levin, who passionately lays out the case against them (and where, as St. Thomas Aquinas observed, anger in the face of injustice is warranted). Not coincidentally, the indictment was announced on the day that the FBI revealed its possession of a document that contends Joe Biden and his son Hunter both received $5,000,000 bribes to influence policies fashioned by the White House, which in turn implies that Barack Obama was "in on it"--since Joe as VP could not influence policies other than by way of the President. MTG has expressed concern that he colleagues are not more eager to bring impeachment against Biden, but (1) he is a terrible candidate for the DEMS; (2) removing him would bring in Kamala; and (3) doing nothing leaves the DEMS in a bigger pickle than if they went after him. Makes sense to me. But I'm all for Marjorie! Some NATO members are talking about coming to the aid of Ukraine on their own even if NATO does not make it a member, which would be an act of colossal stupidity when Russia has gone to war over the issue--and appears to be handily prevailing. Not to mention that Russian subs are off the East and West Coasts of the US and making their presence known--in the hope that the US will get the signal that there is no way America can escape retaliation in the event of nuclear war. The PM of Sweden has said, "No more open immigration!", which is an indication that enough has been more than enough. CA, however, moves further in the wrong direction by making it illegal for security officers in retail stores to detain shoplifters. (Gee! I wonder what effect that is going to have?) And the FDA withdraws J&J's EUA under mutually agreed conditions. All EUAs, of course, should have been rescinded long, long ago.
