TRAIN DRIVER'S CHAT: Deer crossing the track and spring rain

Narrated.

A deer crossing the track in front of the morning commuter train whilst the mother is on the other side.

This is the time of year where we really start to see the deer all over the place. You can see the mother of last years calf in the bushes to the right as she sharply changes direction when her calf crosses the tracks. Last years calf will be shunned by the mother when she gives birth around this time. Mating season for the deer is during fall and the mother carries the calf for about 7 - 8 months before.

So much of deer and so little about the train ride it self. The morning commuter trains still have very few people onboard, but we need to get those essentials to work. There will be an increase of passengers in future videos as the Norwegian government lifted some restrictions right after this was recorded.
