Octopath Traveler 2 (PC) - FINALE: Vide Final Boss Fight & Epilogue

After reigniting all four of the Sacred Flames across Solistia, the four emit a light converging on a location in the middle of the Sundering Sea. There, the crew finds Castle Vidania, a location seen in the very first scene of Temenos's first chapter and nowhere else. There, Oboro (previously known as Kazan) offers himself as the final sacrifice to revive the dark god Vide to end the world, setting the eight adventurers up for the true final boss fight of their journey. But honestly, compared to Galdera, Vide turned out to be really easy, especially since I kept my character builds from the Galdera fight mostly intact for this fight.

After the final battle, the crew end up in Canalbrine for some reason. After reuniting at the same campsite where the final chapter began, the crew say their final goodbyes, and the credits roll. Afterwards, there is a playable epilogue where the starting character (in my case Throné) recruits all of the other adventurers to watch Agnea The Star's new show (with her sister Pala taking her place) about her travels.

Thus ends our adventure. I love this game. It kept everything that made the first Octopath Traveler great while fixing all the issues people had with the first game to create a must-buy game for any fan of turn-based JRPGs.
