New Reloading Dies? Get Them Clean!!

Well, since I'm starting a new caliber, I figured I'd show my process to clean my new dies. Any time you get some new reloading dies, take the time to disassemble and fully clean that thick packing oil from them. It will prevent your dies from functioning properly! That stuff is so thick, it can look like grease!! I show a few of the bad places that are built up with gunk here and how I take them all apart and clean each part.
It also helps to see how things are put together, and then if you have an issue, you can get into the die and diagnose it a little better. Getting familiar with your tools is always a good idea!

Let me know if you have any questions or drop your own recommendations in the comments here for others to learn. I'm new and always looking to learn more about this!!

This is a private range. All shooting is done in a safe, controlled environment with no people or dwellings within miles to be at risk.
