Blame Africa? US climate envoy warns of ‘unsustainable’ population growth

When Earth's population hits 10 billion - as forecast to happen in 2050 - the world will no longer be sustainable, according to a warning from the US special climate envoy John Kerry.
The former US presidential candidate singled out population growth in African countries as the culprit, saying it's ‘unsustainable’, and leads to devastating droughts and flooding. However, Kerry refrained from asking Americans to change their lifestyles.
