God You Are
In His humanity, Jesus reveled in joy. And He undoubtedly takes great pleasure in us and the abundant life He has promised. But He has also shown through His supreme sacrifice on the cross that He understands our grief and has fully removed every roadblock that would prevent us from reaching God. We've all occasionally strayed quite a distance from His shore and need rescue. Jesus is the ship that brings us ashore from the perilous seas of being cut off from God, and His salvation is the port.
