Octopath Traveler 2 (PC) - Part 95: The Moonshade Mastermind (Journey For The Dawn Part 3)

As the quest to restore the dawn to Solistia continues, we now head to the Tombs of the Wardenbeasts (where Ochette's first chapter took place), where the third Sacred Flame lies. However, unlike the previous flames, this one is guarded by a boss fight! However, since I had kept most of my Galdera build intact, this fight was really easy. Fittingly, we need Ochette to activate this sacred flame along with her Crossed Path partner Castti.

The ensuing flashback shows us a new character that played a huge part in Ochette's story despite never actually appearing during it. There is a heavy theory that this character ended up becoming the Grotesque Monster we just fought, becoming a Darkling herself.

And now, we head to Flamechurch where we find the last of the Sacred Flames, only to be stopped by a character who only appeared a couple times in Temenos's story but played a MUCH bigger part behind the scenes as the leader of the Moonshade Order! Another boss fight ensues, and although this one was tougher than the Grotesque Monster, she still fell easily to my Galdera build.

As we light the final Sacred Flame in the town's cathedral area with Temenos and his Crossed Path partner Throne, the four flames each light a path converging on one spot in the Sundering Sea. As we sail there, they find a familiar location from the very first scene of Temenos's first chapter...
