Swapping Gas Lantern Mantles Without Burning Them In

Results: sure it worked, but more of the mantle was burned than usual, up near the string that holds it on.
I probably would just burn the mantles in like normal and not change anything, I don't believe it is worth it, I guess the idea being you save about 60 seconds.
Always fun messing around with Coleman Lanterns though, I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about, or maybe you don't yet and have stumbled onto this video.
