Welcome to our latest recap of the weekend's track and field events! This time around, we had some of the top athletes in the sport, including Aleia Hobbes, Tamari Davis, and Abby Steiner. While Steiner had a solid showing in both the 100 and 200 meters at the Michael Johnson Invitational in Waco, Texas, we feel that the coverage and marketing of track and field can still be improved to showcase its potential.

While Steiner's performance in the 100 meters may not have been her best, she still managed to come in strong with an average time of low 11 seconds. Her average performance this year may be down compared to last year, but we can expect more exciting times as we approach the US Track and Field Championships and the Diamond League.

Although Steiner may not be focusing on the 100 meters as much, we would love to see her compete against stronger candidates in the future. It's a balancing act to improve in one area without hurting performance in others. However, if she can work on her short bursts and reaction times by running more 100-meter races and taking advantage of the indoor season, we believe that Steiner can become unstoppable.

Aside from Steiner, we also want to highlight the outstanding performances of Aleia Hobbes and Tamari Davis, who both finished the 100 meters with sub-eleven times. As we approach the US Championships, we can expect to see a battle between these two impressive athletes.

Overall, it was an exciting weekend for track and field, and we're looking forward to seeing what the future holds for these incredible athletes. Stay tuned for more updates!
