Revival, Biblical Counseling

Since the time when Jesus walked the earth and then ascended into heaven, we have seen waves of renewed faith in Him. Usually this is at a time when church activities have become routine and social activities have become the focus. Men stray away from God and spend their time on man-made traditions. Jesus came breaking such traditions and the church leaders hated Him for it. Jesus said, "Hypocrites!...these people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men" Matthew 15:7-9. And in God's desire to once again reach men, He pours out His Holy Spirit and men are "revived" or come alive again spiritually.
