As Israel leaves Egypt, we see God purposely leading them on a longer route. When Pharaoh sees Israel wandering aimlessly and trapped by the Red Sea, he makes plans to pursue Israel and annihilate them. As we read further, we understand God's strategy in dealing with Pharaoh, and all is not what it seems to be.

- What does God's leading of Israel tell us?
- Was the Red Sea really a swamp or marshy area?
- Why did Moses take the bones of Joseph?
- What is the theme of God operating in a cloud?
- Does God lead us aimlessly throughout our lives?
