Preparing a flower garden bed

Today was the day to do a spring cleanup and get ready for planting. I first established an edge followed by weeding the existing area. There was a cardboard weed barrier that was placed down in winter that did its job. The next step is to either cover with a mulch layer and get some seeds and plants in this newly renovated space.
