An El Niño pattern appears likely to develop over the Pacific ocean over the next few months which could have heavy influences on weather patterns through the end of the year and into next year. Currently, a Rex Block sits over the Great Lakes Region which will bake the region through at least the first week of June. A distinct lack of rainfall is also expected, leading to farming and wildfire concerns.
