Bob Dylan with the title track to his album, "Slow Train Coming" - song whose time and meaning have finally come along with the group Midland with instructions on how they want to be buried when they're gone make up today's Segue City Special as we finish up the work week, tidy up the studio and hit the beaches for the weekend... it's all good and hopefully you are too...

Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.

It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.

Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...

At least that’s the idea… your mileage may vary, check with your dealer; so, you don’t forget order before midnight; operators standing by for your important call; Our talent is on loan from God. We just pray He'll let us finish another segue for tomorrow... Member FDIC.. Licensed drivers only. This offer is void where prohibited by law and that normally means it's legal everywhere but in New Mexico... is that gun really loaded or not and where is Alec? The drama off camera was free...

This feature is a five-time winner of the Thomas J. Duke Memorial Music Segue and BBQ Cook-Off Award. Yes, we just won again. It's a cycle...
