On 23 May 2023, William Bay was arrested during a peaceful protest outside the office of AHPRA in Brisbane, Queensland. He was detained overnight in the Brisbane watch-house and released following an appearance in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.

While in custody, William was pressured to sign bail conditions that would have undermined his democratic right to protest against AHPRA and the Covid 'vaccination' agenda.
