HOW NOT TO DEADLIFT !!!

A failed 80kg deadlift with terrible form as you can see in the video from one of the last reps of a set from last month. (Originally uploaded in 2020 on YT)
The deadlift although a great exercise can be extremely dangerous if done incorrectly as it could lead to a minor or even major injury and possibly injury to your back. Always ensure that you are rested up and that you fuel your body adequately at minimum a few hours before a heavyweight training session. Furthermore, although it is important to test and push yourself we must ensure that we do not lift a weight that we are not yet ready for. Nothing happened on this occasion Allhamadulillah but let this be a reminder that we should always remain vigilant and try to keep our form as perfect as possible even if it means doing a much lower weight. Good form is always the priority.
