Italian rescue teams evacuate residents from flooded homes

Emergency crews helped evacuate stranded residents amid deadly flooding in the Emilia Romagna region of northern Italy.

Officials said the latest floods pushed losses to multiple billions of Euros, given the widespread damage to farmland, buildings and infrastructure. The region had already estimated some €1 billion in losses from heavy rains earlier this month.
