Today I'm taking a look at 5 of the possible concerns, challenges, and problems that No Man's Sky might face. There's no doubt that the gameplay of No Man's Sky offers a non-linear buffet of awesome space exploration gameplay. The biggest question however is whether all of that gameplay will be presented well enough and of course FUN enough for the price of admission. Taking decades of gaming experiences and 19 years of beta testing various games, I go through each potential concern, utilizing experiences that I've had in real life as my guide to why they might be valid.

Now that said, from a prospective Let's Play aspect, No Man's Sky looks absolutely amazing, and I'm totally and completely stoked for it coming out. I totally plan to play and make videos for it, and I may even do some streaming for it, something I've never done before! So don't think for a moment that these concerns are being raised because I want the game to fail, quite the contrary, I want the game to succeed in such a way that it sets the bar for every survival exploration game that much higher in the future. I do like to play the devil's advocate however, and as much I enjoy the concept of procedurally generated games, I've seen plenty of flops that have used such a system to terrible effect. Not only this, I've seen games that attempted to have massive scopes in size, only to find that they were barren, uninspired, and really not all that varied. I've also found games that have kept their core gameplay a mystery, solely because the core gameplay simply wasn't very compelling. There have also been instances of the ambitions of the developer not matching up with what is reasonably possible, given the current technology and release time frame. And of course, there have been instances where developers have not taken the time to adequately test the game, releasing a "Finished" product that was little more than a paid alpha test (although these days it seems like paying for an alpha test is normal).

Anyway, I hope you guys find this list helpful, and if there's any concerns you have, feel free to ask them in the comments below. I'm also looking at following up with more things you should know about No Man's Sky as we get closer to launch. Thanks for watching ya'll!
