Iran's Kish Island, known as the ‘Pearl of the Persian Gulf’, is preparing to have its ancient town added to the UNESCO list. The island is well-known as a thriving resort, attracting thousands visitors from across the globe every year, despite the Western sanctions imposed on Iran.
