CHECK THE FULL RECIPE:

Ingredients:

• 1.2 kg bone-in pork chop
• salt to taste
• Black pepper to taste
• lemon pepper to taste
• 2/3 cup of water
• 800 g of potato
• 50 g of butter
• 3 tablespoons of table cream
• 1/4 cup ketchup
• juice of 1 1/2 Tahiti lime
• 1/4 cup of honey
• 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary

Method:

In a bowl, place the steaks and season with salt, pepper and lemon pepper. Let it rest for 40 minutes to get the seasoning.

In a skillet or pan, put a thread of olive oil and fry the steaks on both sides. Transfer to a roast and book.

In the same skillet, add the water and mix well. Pour that water over the steaks and spread some rosemary.

Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 35 minutes.

Peel the potatoes, cut into cubes and cook in salted water until soft. Drain the potatoes, mash well and place in a pan.

Add butter, sour cream, and mix well. Take to the fire until all the butter melts, mix well forming the puree. Reserve.

In the same skillet in which you fried the steaks, add the ketchup, lemon juice, honey, rosemary and cook for a few minutes.

When ready to serve, place the steaks on a plate, add the mashed potatoes and drizzle with the sweet and sour sauce.
