Parents of missing persons march during Mother’s Day in Mexico

Hundreds of missing persons’ parents took to the streets of Mexico City, demanding more action from the government to find their loved ones.

Demonstrators carried banners and photographs of their children, as they marched from the city’s Monument to the Mother towards the Angel of Independence. The event coincided with Mother’s Day, which always falls on May 10 in Mexico.
