Doctors demand higher wages at Frankfurt protest

Medical workers staged a mass rally in central Frankfurt amid a wage dispute between the Marburger Bund union and the association of municipal employers (VKA).

According to Marburger Bund, medical workers are demanding a 2.5% pay increase for roughly 55,000 doctors in municipal hospitals across Germany to compensate for rising inflation.
