In this relatively short and simple video, I share a couple of prayers you can use to support yourself and your coworkers. Immediately below (and for your convenience), I have copied the basic text of the two prayers I discuss. ***Shorter First Prayer*** PRAYER FOR REMOVAL OF THE WICKED Father, I ask in the name of Jesus that all Willful Workers of Wickedness be removed from positions of power, prominence, and prestige (whether inside or outside of the church). Open the eyes of those being deceived and place people who will stand for Your righteous cause in the high places of government and influence. "May His Days Be Few; May Another Take His Office." [Psalm 109:8 (NAB)] Amen. ***Longer Second Prayer*** THE HARVEST IS PLENTY, BUT THE LABORERS ARE FEW. Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, our souls cry out to You. This world has become so evil in seeking its own way rather than Yours. Sadly, the same can be said for many of those in visible and apparent union with Your one, holy, Catholic, and apostolic church established for our salvation. In our own small way, we seek to save and restore what we can. But the task is too large for our feeble efforts. Guide us in Your will as we seek to support those needing support and correct those needing correction. Alone, and by our own efforts, we can accomplish nothing. With prayer, faith, and fasting, however, we trust Your promise that the Holy Spirit can work through us to accomplish all things in Your will. Help us strengthen Your best servants. Help us make Your weak ones stronger. Help us turn back to You those who have strayed from Your will. In those regrettable cases where they have come to serve the enemy rather than You, help us protect Your flock. Of course, Lord, You alone can read souls and only You can really say what each one needs. So, I lift them all to You in prayer. But in knowing that Your will and Your way is perfect, I also am specifically lifting in prayer our Pope [Francis], our Bishop [your Bishop's Name], and those priests I believe to be in most need of Your grace including [Here specifically list/say the names of those priests you find most excellent, most in need of help, or most troubling. Don't worry about being wrong in your assessment. Have confidence that God will sort them out.] Lord of all, we know that the harvest of souls You wish to gather into Your kingdom is plentiful. As such, we have come to believe that the need for support of your appointed shepherds is also great. If it is truly Your will that we do assist them in this way, please send us enough workers for the field. [An Added Line for Leaders In Private Prayer] Please guide us as we seek to grow and prosper this work for Your glory and to support each of those workers You send us.
