Minute of silence held in Moscow on Victory Day

A minute of silence has been held in Moscow. It’s a symbolic ritual commemorating those who gave their lives defending the Motherland from the Nazis during WWII.

Before the traditional ceremony, people also said prayers and expressed their love for the victorious soldiers, partisans and civilians who sacrificed themselves to save their homeland.
