Hook: Mustad 3399, #4-#16
Thread: Danville 6/0, Black & White
Tip: Danville 4-Strand Rayon Floss, Yellow
Body: Peacock Herl
Hackle: Guinea
Wing: Slate

The Bisset is another wet fly from Ray Bergman's book - Trout (page 425, plate #1) that is a basic cassis pattern that uses some yellow floss for a hot spot and peacock herl (always a great material to work with) for the body. There is a bit of Guinea hackle in the throat for some contrast and a basic slate colored wing. Although this was created for trout (many years ago) I know it is a fantastic panfish fly. Cast the Bisset along a weed line, log, or current seam and SLOOOOOWLY swim it back and the panfish can't resist. A great fly to practice your peacock herl skills as well as matched wings. - - Enjoy
