WHAT WERE PEOPLE ANGRY ABOUT BACK IN THE 90'S?

Things seem so out of control these days and the country is more divided than ever...it makes everything pre-2016, nay, Sept. 11, 2001 seem so quaint. I remember there was social unrest 30 years ago...but seriously - what were people angry about back in the 90's? I'll give you a hint : it didn't involve children!
