Master Illusionist (Part 1)

This is a Skyrim character build primarily focused on the Illusion and Destruction magic schools. It's intended to be a pure mage with an ocean of Magicka to draw upon, at the price of completely ignoring Stamina boosting. When fully developed, this mage will be able to effectively duel other magic casters very well. In addition to accumulating wealth over time and causing mayhem where required. My character blueprint is detailed, below:

-Race: Nord. Although choosing any other race with magical bonuses will make gameplay slightly easier.

-Stat Allocation: 80% Magicka, 20% Health, 0% Stamina.

-Primary Skills: Illusion, Destruction and Alteration. I maxed out Illusion before anything else, but there's nothing wrong with taking a more balanced approach to leveling. Choosing all of the perks in all three of these magical schools is crucial to fully developing this build.

-Secondary Skill: Speech. With a focus on bartering rather than speech-check bonuses. Just bring along a well-equipped follower when you can to help carry loot. Don't worry, this character can pay them well, but watch your area of effect attack spells!

-Tertiary Skills: Restoration (or) Sneak. Pick one of these skills and choose all of the perks once one of your Primary Skills is maxed out. Restoration is great for getting yourself or one of your followers out of a bind without needing to carry a whole pallet of potions, with you. And the perks offered from Restoration are outstanding for any mage. Alternately, Sneak isn't bad for reconnaissance and evasion. And even without using physical weapons, Destruction magic still has a modest critical modifier while sneaking. Combined with the Quiet Casting perk offered through Illusion, not many enemies will be able to track you easily with a high Sneak aptitude.
