The Orwellian and censorious Bill C-11 or 'Online Streaming Act' passed on Thursday, April 27, 2023. It gives the CRTC the power to decide what Canadians see online and on social media platforms. While Liberals are celebrating their newfound powers, Conservatives keep trying to raise the alarm about its consequences.
However, neither side is talking about what happens once Justin Trudeau and the Liberals leave. Will the Conservative Party of Canada, or whoever else takes power, be so upset with the powers granted by this bill then?
