Breaching minefield with Robotic MICLIC
Clearing obstacles – barbed wire, mines and barriers – under enemy fire is one of the most dangerous missions that the Warfighter can face. In response to this ongoing concern by DOD Leadership, the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center is integrating an automated Mine Clearing Line Charge, or MICLIC, onto a robotic platform. The research provides additional capabilities to the Warfighter along with this lifesaving technology. Harness the Power of ERDC at ERDCINFO@USACE.ARMY.MIL.
