2003 Cayenne Cabriolet - The Convertible SUV That Almost Made It

Porsche showed off the 2003 Cayenne Convertible concept almost 20 years ago. This Cayenne Cabriolet was built to see if a production model would be viable. In 2003, after a strong start for the first gen Cayenne, Porsche had plans to expand the Cayenne lineup to four total models, including a long wheelbase version, coupe version, and a cabriolet model.
