Huge Trifecta Out of Illinois and What It Means for Us Moving Foward

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the huge win out of Illinois yesterday where a court has enjoined the State of Illinois from enforcing the Protect Illinois Communities Act, better known as their unconstitutional assault weapon and magazine ban. While the nefarious details of how this legislation became law is already infamous, yesterday a judge in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, properly applied the law, including the common use test, as developed in DC v. Heller, and issued an injunction on enforcement of this law. But there is much, much more to this ruling and all of it is good. Learn what all of this means to you and arm yourself with education.
