Thread: UNI Thread 8/0, Black
Body: Turkey Biot, Baetis Olive
Thorax: Life Cycle Dubbing, gray
Hackle: Hungarian Partridge, dark

I chose the Turkey Biot BWO because I wanted to demonstrate how to create a body on a nymph (or dry fly) using biots. Once you understand how to tie them in to get the results you want they are easy to work with and make a quick body with wonderful segmentation. Plus, it is a very effective fly.

In the video I mention the Fly Tier's Benchside Reference to Techniques and Dressing Styles Hardcover – Ted Leeson & Jim Schollmeyer (link below) which is an excellent reference for fly tying and a must have for anyone wanting to make their time at the vise more enjoyable. -- Enjoy
