In Ottawa, representatives from the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) comment on negotiations with the federal government. The update comes on the eighth day of the strike, as picketing workers escalate their activities by limiting access to office buildings and critical infrastructure. Taking part in the news conference are Chris Aylward (national president), Sharon DeSousa (national executive vice-president), and Alex Silas (regional executive vice-president, National Capital Region).
