This Smokey garlic hummus is awesome and helped us lose weight. We pair this with non starchy veggies and we have a fast meal on the go.

This is our modification of the Krocks recipe for hummus. This was really quick and simple to make. It is Vegan - Very Low Fat and Gluten Free.

2 cans of garbanzo beans (drained, but keep liquid)
1 cup aqua fava (liquid from garbanzo beans)
4-8 cloves of garlic (your preference)
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp liquid smoke
2 Tbsp tahini
2 Tsp garlic powder
2 Tsp smoked paprika
1 Tsp cumin (optional - We usually leave it out)
1 Tsp garlic salt

Blend in a food processor or high speed blender about 2 minutes or until smooth. Store in a glass container in the fridge. Stays good about a week.
