Was Steven Seagal really in the CIA?

This is obviously going to be a serious documentary because it is a serious topic. I tried to stay focused but it's hard when I'm covering Sensei Special Ops. Seagal and Michael Ovitz, his agent, were masters in crafting a persona for Sensei Sloth. Was it based on a lie? Probably. Almost certainly. At least 99% of it. I'd love to know your thoughts.
