Morning Manna - April 24, 2023

Last Friday we wrapped up our study of the parables of Jesus. When we began the Bible study, we didn’t expect our study of the parables to continue for two months. However, the Holy Spirit encouraged us to keep the study going, and you encouraged us too.

Today we begin a study of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. This study will continue for an indefinite number of weeks, perhaps months. We will flow with the Holy Spirit. For some of you, Doc Burkhart and I will present Bible prophecy interpretations that are different than what you’ve heard most of your life depending on your church denomination affiliation. We encourage you to be open minded and most of all, that your Bible be open too. Open the Word of God, read the scriptures we quote, and pray to God about what we teach. Doc and I were both brought up in church denominations that taught there will be a secret rapture before the Second Coming of Jesus. They also taught that the State of Israel is the center of everything God is doing. Neither of us believe those things now. We believe Jesus will return one time, and He is the center of everything God is doing.
