The beauty of the bride. (Isaiah 19:16, 1 Samuel 2:1-10)

I know I didn't get a chance to talk about fully to the beauty of the bride. Mostly because I couldn't really see my notes in it though I think we got there in a way. In that, the only reason we know why the bride is so important to her, to The Bridegroom, is because of birthing pain moments like this, using language and culture of the time and place. Images of actions that make my heart weep that we are still doing, abused people becomes abusers and the cycle continues on and on until we all eventually divided into those that would rather die that abuse, because we know what we have been forgiven (die to ourselves that we might live), and those who don't care, who want to get "what's theirs and screw the rest". We either shine brighter than the stars with HIS Light or we become less than beasts, end up as another open mouth to the grave, to Sheol. We're either the millstone on someone's back, weighting down and not acting to lift a finger (Matt 23:4) or we are Light and Salt, who get to be used to shine with HIS Light as Moses did, no veil for us though! Who get to do what salt does: purify, bring out the flavors of others, slow decay, and to be used in nearly every facet of life, especially when it feels like only GOD sees us there. Cause the things that aren't seen bring their own beauty. After all, we cannot see what NaCl looks like without a microscope, but being in a place it can be seen, salt looks like a little fortress on the building blocks level. What's what we get to be!

The whole Bible is One unified story that points to JESUS.
The whole of Creation speaks to HIS glory.
Every Day is a chance to join in the song of praise, for if we are silent the rocks will cry out. They are. Do we?
