4 year old Food Forest Walkaround - Spring 2020

A lot of people say that they can't start a food forest but want to. A lot of people are stuck in lockdown right now. Maybe I can help. Throw this video on in the background while you work from home, make dinner, do your kids homework with them, or tidy up the apartment. Come with me walking around, learning lessons on my land (I learn a few here). One of the lessons I learn will help you when you make a small garden, a small fruit tree guild, or a full blown food forest down the road. It may save you from losing every apple or pear you ever get, and it's all about sun exposure and where to place your trees. And it's not always in full sun, as we'll show today.

But just sit back and enjoy the birds, the budding trees, and the excitement of a new season just on the verge of coming. I expanded my food forest at least 200% this year, likely much more, and it's going to be an incredible season. Even I learned something new, had an emotional moment while I saw something incredibly beautiful that my son did. I never taught him how to do cuttings, but he was watching me and learning none the less. So rewarding!

In today's video, the only music comes from the birds.
