DRIVER ROLLS PICKUP, DRIVER EJECTED, GOODRICH TEXAS, 04/15/23...

Pickup Rolls, Driver Ejected, GOODRICH, April 15, 2023 - At approximately 8:25 am on April 15, 2023, a brown 2002 Chevy pickup, driven by a 16 year old Livingston Youth, was east-bound on FM-2665 when he came out of a curve too fast and left the pavement to the right. His pickup rolled and came to rest on a barbed wire fence at a tree near Copeland Creek. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with the Goodrich Volunteer Fire Department, Deputies from the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Cotye Lowrie with the Texas Highway. During the rollover, the 16 year old was ejected but survived. He was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital with undisclosed injuries. Traffic on 2665 was partially blocked during investigation and cleanup. The youth was cited for unsafe speed. The pickup was recovered by LakeView Wrecker and will be stored in Livingston.Show more
