Welcome to Emma's Animals

Meeting (some of) the animals!
It is winter, so not all are out and about now.

Basically, I've had snakes, stray cats, possums, and raccoons hanging around for years. No matter what I tried I could not make my property unappealing to them (and I was NEVER going to hurt/kill them - mostly I just tried to scare them). First I started feeding/interacting with a feral cat (not one I have video of) who eventually had babies and they went to help my uncles feed store. Much time passed and then I felt really bad for Bright Eyes when over a winter I caught him digging in my burn pile for leftover cat food. After that winter I found some opossums eating his food so I tried to keep them away as he was a bit scared of them. Ultimately, I started feeding/watching the wildlife while bringing in Bright Eyes food for the night. After that my job gave me a very early shift which meant I could not stay up late at night wildlife watching so after awhile I started recording them. Finally, I decided why not share some of the videos with the world (pushed a bit by a friend who wants to see them) after all I enjoy watching them so perhaps others will too.
(And I'll always be sorry that I didn't start recording earlier so folks could have met my seventeen year companion Peaches the cat (she was nineteen when kidney failure took her in July 2021) nor King the opossum - that possum, man, I'm not joking when I say I could've made him a pet. He had very little fear of me at all despite my best efforts. Plus you haven't lived until an opossum kicks your door because the cats ate all his food. All the other opossums are properly afraid of me and all but one of the raccoons fear me.)

Thanks for watching and I'm grateful for all the views, the likes, the shares, and the subscribers. But if you'd like to do more read on.

Basically, you can help me while helping yourself - win/win!

Help GoFundMe for Car Repair: https://www.gofundme.com/f/789jce-car-repair (Thanks!)

Or support the critters by donating through Buy Me A Coffee ( https://www.buymeacoffee.com/luciC ) and/or PayPal ( https://www.paypal.me/lucicat12 ). All the critters would love that as they now get upset when they come around and there's no food - I don't have that much outdated food or that many leftovers so some dog/cat food has to fill the gaps. Thanks.
