You Keep Me Hangin’ on was first recorded by Diana Ross and the Supremes in 1966, and they reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. American rock band Vanilla Fudge released a cover version in June 1967, and it reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1986, Kim Wilde did a cover of "You Keep Me Hangin,” and it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1987. I was having a difficult time trying to figure out what visuals to put to this music.
