"You Keep Me Hangin' On" is a song written and composed by Holland–Dozier–Holland. Holland–Dozier–Holland was a songwriting and production team consisting of Lamont Dozier and brothers Brian and Eddie Holland. The trio wrote, arranged and produced many songs that helped define the Motown sound in the 1960s. You Keep Me Hangin’ on was first recorded by Diana Ross and the Supremes in 1966, and they reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. American rock band Vanilla Fudge released a cover version in June 1967, and it reached #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1986, Kim Wilde did a cover of "You Keep Me Hangin,” and it reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1987. And then in 1996, American country singer Reba McEntire's version reached #2 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. “You Keep Me Hangin’ On” has been a popular song throughout the decades. This is my rendition of Troy Hawes’ vocal/guitar arrangement of “You Keep Me Hangin’ On.” The video visuals are of Grand Teton National Park. Grand Teton National Park is in the US state of Wyoming. I was having a difficult time trying to figure out what visuals to put to this music. I thought, well if I were going through heartbreak and needed to get away, I would definitely go to the Grand Teton National Park area. Yes, that is what I would do!
