NOTE: Water to tomato flake ratio will all be dependent on what you are making and how thick you want your sauce. I do not work in exacts when using such things so I cannot tell you what you need so here is what I suggest. Start with a ratio of 1:1 and add more water as needed. If you are making a sauce, it is usually cooked for a time anyway and this will cause it to thicken. You can always add more water or more flakes to get the desired consistency. NOTE: Water to tomato flake ratio will all be dependent on what you are making and how thick you want your sauce. I do not work in exacts when using such things so I cannot tell you what you need so here is what I suggest. Start with a ratio of 1:1 and add more water as needed. If you are making a sauce, it is usually cooked for a time anyway and this will cause it to thicken. You can always add more water or more flakes to get the desired consistency.
