Moms Against The Norm would like to warn you, we do not consider this book to be suitable for children.
The Bluest Eye can be found in high schools across BC Canada. Many high schools in BC start in grade 7. Do you think it would be appropriate for a 12 year old grade 7 student to check this book out of their school library? What if a teacher were to read this book to their class? Or assign it for a book report? Should this book have an age limit? What would that be? Let us know in the comments below.
This book is not on the SOGI123 book list. Why then can it be found in schools across our province?
